Position: Executive Director
Bio:
Michelle holds the overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. She has a deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans for Aldersgate. Prior to her 9 years here, she was the program director for Center for Life Resources at Central Texas MHMR for 14 years. It was here that she discovered her passion for working with the physically and mentally disabled. She has a son, Marshall, and a daughter-in-law, Mary. She enjoys spending time in her yard and with her loving bulldog, Charlie who you will see on campus from time-to-time
What she has to say about Aldersgate:
Working here, if you can even call it that, has been a life-altering experience. I love having the ability, resources, and the environment to allow individuals the opportunity to work in a place where they can grow and develop; not only in their life, but in their walk with God. To work in a place where we are allowed to begin our day with worship and devotion just adds strength to your life that you cannot receive from anywhere else. It is such a blessing to see our associates grow and excel in their day-to-day lives as well as their spiritual lives. Also, it is a unique feeling for Aldersgate to be such a blessing to others by having the means to give back in so many situations. All in all, God has brought me here to just the right place at just the right time to not only make a difference in the lives of others but to make a difference in my own life as well.
